About Alpine Addictions    

     Alpine Addictions is owned and operated by internationally certified Mountain Guide Jeff Honig (UIAGM/IFMGA).  This is the only internationally recognized certification and allows guiding worldwide.

     Based in Revelstoke British Columbia in the heart of the Columbia Mountains, we offer custom guided adventures both locally in Western Canada, and internationally.  Alpine Addictions offers both private guiding and instructional type programs to suit many peoples needs.  Low ratios will ensure that the client(s) individual needs can be met and exceeded.  

Safety, adventure and success is what I strive to deliver  in any adventure I undertake.  My climbing and guiding resume include rock, ice, mixed, alpine, and ski ascents in Canada, United States, Thailand, and the European Alps.  Pushing my own personal standards remains important, as does bringing others to the special places on our planet.

I do a variety of different work to keep diversity and avoid complacency.  I work as a heli ski guide for Selkirk Tangiers Heli Skiing in Revelstoke British Columbia.  I have worked for various schools and guides offices in Western Canada as well as in Europe (Switzerland, France, Italy).  I have guided at many of the back country ski touring lodges that the interior of British Columbia is famous for including Fairy Meadows and Selkirk Lodge.  I have also worked on high angle rope access and safety contracts for Vertical Systems International.

Permits and Legalize

Alpine Addictions holds all of the permits available for commercial independent mountain guiding in western Canada, as well as holding valid insurance.
